Dead car Battery:

Dead battery could be the main reason behind failure of starting the vehicle. Not changing a battery which has completes its life can explain that, however, there are other factors which can play part in battery’s failure:

  • When vehicle is not used for a long period of time.
  • Use of battery or any other electrical part when the engine is off.
  • Electrical connections are bad at the terminal of the battery.
  • Accumulation of battery acid at the bottom leaving the upper portion short of acid ( Acid Stratification)
  • Loss of water in battery due to lack of evaporation & maintenance.

Empty Fuel tank:

Make sure to avoid having a empty fuel as this could be another reason behind failure of vehicle start. The engine will crank but will not start.

A weak fuel pump could be another reason as well as clogged fuel due to an accumulation of dirt & debris in car’s fuel pump.
